Pamela Margaret White, 60, of Cass Lake, died on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at her home in Cass Lake.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake with Rev. Gerald Algers officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake. A spring burial will be in Battle Point Cemetery in Federal Dam, Minn., following cremation. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Cass Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Dahl, Sonny James Stethem, Kevin Campbell, Justin Campbell, Keevin Wright, Terry Jourdain, Seth White-Raines and Jim Michaud.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1945, to Harry and Margaret (Newman) White, in Aberdeen, S.D. She attended grade school in Heckla, S.D., until her family moved to Bena. She went to the Boy River School and later attended Cass Lake High School. As a young woman, she worked as a nanny in Minneapolis and attended cosmetology school in Duluth. She worked at numerous jobs in and around Bena. She moved to Forsythe, Mont., and lived there a few years working in restaurants. More recently, she worked as a cook in restaurants and also for the Northern Lights Casino.

She liked fishing, traveling, going to the casinos, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her son, Clinton "Tom" (Jen) White of Buffalo, N.Y.; daughter, Rhonda (Dan Rasmussen) Michaud of Walker; sisters, Edith (Roger) Brauer of Hysham, Mont., Blanche Kluver of Tahoe, Nev., and Penny (Mike) French of Cass Lake; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brothers, Clinton "Sonny" Brown and Edward "Bud" Brown; and sister, Janice Seelye.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Rasmussen, Jimmy Campbell, Mike French, Dan Rasmussen, Roger Brauer and all her special friends.
