Cloquet Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting on the Fond du Lac Reservation on Saturday.
At about 2 p.m. Saturday, Cloquet police were called to 1574 Whispering Pine Drive for a report that a man had been shot twice in the chest. One adult man had been shot twice by a high-powered air rifle, according to police. His injuries were not life threatening and he is currently recovering at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
The man arrested at the scene is currently being held at the Carlton County Law Enforcement Center pending charges.
Cloquet Police were assisted by Carlton County Sheriff's Office, Fond du Lac Police, Fond du Lac Conservation, Minnesota State Patrol and Cloquet Ambulance.
