Festivities begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Tourist Information Center.
Here's the order of events:
-- The U.S. men's and women's Olympic curling teams will autograph a Paul Bunyan-sized curling broom and have their photos taken with Paul, who will be decked out in a curling tam and bronze medal replica, broom and rock.
-- A "Curling Capital USA" sign will be unveiled.
-- A horse-drawn caravan to Bemidji High School will be led by the curling teams and followed by Mayor Richard Lehmann and other dignitaries. Fans are invited to join the caravan or line the route and wave their "Hammer Hankies" and decorated brooms.

-- A ceremony at the BHS Auditorium will include a mayor's proclamation designating Bemidji as "Curling Capital USA," a proclamation from Bemidji State University and special music. Presentations will be made to the Olympians, and the curlers have been invited to speak to the crowd.
-- All fans are invited to the Bemidji Curling Club for an open house with refreshments and a chance to try the sport.
-- Coverage of the day's events will be posted by early evening Sunday on the Pioneer's Web site: www.bemidjipioneer.com and also will appear in the Tuesday edition of the newspaper.
