Billed as Moondance Jammin' Country Fest, an event slated to be held June 28-30 this year in Walker is not connected in any way to last year's Country Fest Minnesota held at the former Castle Highlands Golf Course, according to Moondance Events and Adventures owner Bill Bieloh.

Several advance ticket holders have called Moondance, Bieloh said, noting that he is not sure what type of promises had been made by Frank Chrz, but the tickets will not be honored at the Moondance Jammin' Country Fest.

"We were all geared up to start Jammin' Country last year," Bieloh said before noting that Chrz' announcement of Country Fest Minnesota led Bieloh to put plans for his own festival in Walker on hold.
