Myrtle Olson, 86, of Dilworth, Minn., formerly of Clearbrook, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at the Meritcare Pallative Unit in Fargo, N.D.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley with the Rev. Duaine Espeseth officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Gonvick.
She was born May 22, 1921, to Ole and Marie (Juve) Olson in rural Fosston. She grew up in the Fosston area and moved to Clearbrook in 1950. In 1970, she moved to Fergus Falls. In 1973, she moved to Thief River Falls, moving to Clearbrook in 1978. She resided in Dilworth since 1994.
She married Herman Snobeck in 1940. He died in 1949. In 1957, she married Bennie Olson, and he died in 1994. She was a charter member of Elim Lutheran Brethren Church in Clearbrook, where she taught Sunday school for 50 years.
She enjoyed babysitting her great-grandchildren and loved all children.

She is survived by her daughter, Hope (Duaine) Espeseth of Avondale, Ariz.; son, Jerry (Carolyn) Snobeck of Clearbrook; sister, Clara Holm of Clearbrook; brother, Clifford (Violet) Olson of Clearbrook; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sister, Mildred Steele; and brothers, Ed and Ordean Olson.
