Moe won't seek re-election

WALKER -- Minnesota Assistant House Majority Leader Frank Moe, DFL-Bemidji, turned what would have been a unanimous endorsement here Saturday afternoon for a third term into his amnouncement he won't run this fall.

WALKER -- Minnesota Assistant House Majority Leader Frank Moe, DFL-Bemidji, turned what would have been a unanimous endorsement here Saturday afternoon for a third term into his amnouncement he won't run this fall.

Citing that he wants to spend more time with his wife, Sherri, and to complete his doctorate degree in education, Moe told Senate 4 DFL delegates he would not seek a third term. The news stunned delegates, who now must find a candidate to replace Moe, and hold their House 4A endorsing convention later.
