DETROIT, Mich. - Bemidji State senior defender Andrew Martens and junior forward Luke Erickson were voted to the All-CHA first team, announced Thursday night at the league's banquet at the Hall of Legends in Ford Field.
Martens earned his first all-conference award Besides leading the league's top defense, Martens was second among CHA defensemen with 11 assists and a plus/minus rating of +11.
Erickson scored 11 goals and 25 points in league games, including a league-leading 18 points on the power play. He was one of only two non-seniors to be named to the first team.
Erickson was also a CHA all-academic team honoree earned BSU's Easton Three-Star Award.
Bemidji State's Tyler Scofield and defender Cody Bostock were CHA All-Rookie Team selections. Scofield tied for third among rookie in league scoring with 17 points.

Despite scoring just four points in conference play, Bostock was a pivotal member of a defensive unit which led the league in fewest goals against.
For the second consecutive year, Bemidji State led the league in players earning All-Academic Team honors with 16. named to the team for the beavers were sophomore goalie Orlando Alamano, sophomore forward Jake Bluhm, sophomore goalie Matt Climie, sophomore defender Dave Deterding, Erickson, senior forward Lou Garritan, senior forward Jean-Guy Gervais, senior forward Ryan Huddy, sophomore forward Blaine Jarvis, junior forward Ryan Miller, sophomore forward Matt Pope, junior forward Garrett Roth, junior defender Nathan Schwartzbauer, junior goalie Layne Sedevie, sophomore defender Niko Suoraniemi and freshman defender Riley Weselowski.
Joining Martens and Erickson on the first team were senior goalie Scott Munroe (UAH), senior defender Jeremy Schreiber (UAH), junior forward Sean Bentivoglio (Niagara), and senior forward Bruce Mulherin (UAH).
Additional members of the All-Rookie Team included Michael Myhra (Air Force), Ted Cook (Niagara), Chris Margott (Robert Morris) and Les Reaney (Niagara).
Brooks Turnquist of Air Force was named Student Athlete of the Year, with Munroe and Jeff Van Nynatten of Niagara Co-Players of the Year. Co-Rookies of the Year went to Reaney and Cook with Niagara's Dave Burkholter being named Coach of the Year.
The CHA Tournament begins today. Fourth seed Robert Morris will take on fifth seed Air Force in the afternoon quarterfinal game. In the nightcap, third seed Alabama-Huntsville is slated to face sixth seed Wayne State.
The early semifinal Saturday features regular season champion Niagara facing the AFA/Robert Morris winner. Bemidji State will take on the UAJH/Wayne State winner in the second semifinal.
