Marillyn Jewell "Kelly" Goldstone, 76, of Grafton, N.D., died Sept. 22, 2010 at her home in Grafton.

Private family services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the Altru Hospice-Grafton Office in Grafton, N.D. The Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton was in charge of the arrangements.

She was born April 7, 1934 in Detroit, MI to the late Myron and Jewell (Stonefield) Connell. She moved to northern Minnesota and graduated from Blackduck High School. She was united in marriage to Calvin Hower. She later moved to Grafton, N.D. and married Fred "Tim" Goldstone Jr. Sept. 12, 1970.

She owned the Corner Court Trailer Court and farmed with her husband for many years. They were both pilots and lifetime members of the E.A.A., Chapter 380. They had their own airstrip called "Kelly Field" on their farm where they hosted many fly-ins for friends and fellow pilots.

The couple enjoyed square dancing and loved traveling extensively both here and abroad. In the later years, they enjoyed traveling on their 1989 Harley Davidson touring bike. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook and entertain.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim Michelle (Tom) Jensen of Tenstrike; three stepchildren, Dr. Mike (Linda) Goldstone of St. Paul, Merrie (Steve) Brantseg of Minneapolis and Mark (Rhonda) Goldstone of West Fargo, N.D.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred, March 3, 2002; an infant daughter, Colleen; a brother, Myron Jr. and a sister, Jeannine Reed.
