BRAINERD -- Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl Friday released the name of the 21-year-old man who died on Rush Lake on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Ryan Giguere of Eagan.
At 4:36 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's office received a report of a possible personal watercraft accident on Rush Lake.
Giguere had been operating the watercraft and had entered the water.
Witnesses were able to remove Giguere from the water and transport him to shore, where resuscitation efforts were performed. He was transported by ambulance to an air care landing zone nearby.

Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office was assisted by residents of Milinda Shores Road, Breezy Point Police Department, Crosslake Police Department and Ideal Fire Department and North Ambulance.
