Cass County authorities reported Sunday that a 19-year-old man was transported to a Fargo, N.D., hospital with a gunshot wound to his head.
Leonard F. Boyd, address unknown, was in a rural Cass Lake residence when he was shot in the head sometime early Sunday. Authorities were called to the residence about 6:45 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators from the Cass County Sheriff's Office and Leech Lake Tribal Police responded to the residence. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
