Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death that occurred Monday in Naytahwaush.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call Monday at about 12:05 a.m. regarding a man who was not breathing.
Besides deputies, White Earth Tribal Police and Twin Lakes Ambulance responded and found the man inside the residence, where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death, and the case is under investigation with the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office, White Earth Police Department and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
The man’s identity is being withheld, pending notification of family.
