Lots of Lasagna: Students serve up something special for homelessness awareness week

As National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week continues, the Bemidji committee is inviting the public to a chicken dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and silent auction 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, 924 Beltrami Ave. NW. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for a children’s chicken nugget meal. To-go orders will be available. Proceeds from the event are distributed among agencies that help Bemidji’s homeless population.
