TrekNorth listed among best high schools in 2022 US News ranking

TrekNorth High School has been named a U.S. News 2022 Best High School being ranked in the top 40% of nearly 18,000 public high schools nationwide.

BEMIDJI — TrekNorth High School has been named a U.S. News 2022 Best High School, ranking in the top 40% of nearly 18,000 public high schools nationwide.

Tabulated in conjunction with Research Triangle Institute International, Best High School rankings are determined by college readiness, college curriculum breadth, state assessment proficiency and performance, and graduation rates.

TrekNorth was the highest-ranked school in the Bemidji area and sixteenth-ranked in the state of Minnesota. It also ranked number 244 among charter high schools.

TrekNorth’s “scorecard” illustrates that 68% of its high school students took at least one Advanced Placement exam with 56% passing at least one AP exam.

They were also reported as having a 39% in mathematics proficiency, 66% in reading proficiency and 59% in science proficiency. TrekNorth also has an 81% graduation rate.
