BEMIDJI – The filing period for three Bemidji City Council positions opened at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, and closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31.
Four-year terms for Ward 2, Ward 4 and the At-Large position on the council will be up for grabs this election season with terms beginning Jan. 3, 2023.
An affidavit of candidacy and filing fee will be accepted at the city clerk’s office at 317 Fourth St. NW from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The time period for filing extends to 5 p.m. on May 31.
Information packets and affidavits of candidacy are also available at the city clerk’s office or on the city’s website at www.ci.bemidji.mn.us.
