Construction on Ridgeway Avenue NW to begin July 5

Ridgeway Avenue NW will be under construction beginning July 5, as a part of Bemidji’s 2022 Street Renewal Project.

BEMIDJI — The city of Bemidji and Northern Paving, Inc. will begin construction on Ridgeway Avenue NW, from Paul Bunyan Drive to 30th Street, on Tuesday, July 5.

The construction, a part of the 2022 Street Renewal Project, is scheduled to be completed by September, if weather permits.

Normal working hours for the project will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work on Saturdays is also possible.

The majority of the area will remain passable for residents living inside the area throughout the time frame, but the roads will be closed to thru traffic which will be detoured onto adjacent streets.
