Amy Worden named new Northern Elementary Principal

Amy Worden has been chosen to replace retiring Northern Elementary Principal Wendy Templin effective with the 2022-2023 school year.

BEMIDJI — Amy Worden has been chosen to replace retiring Northern Elementary Principal Wendy Templin effective with the 2022-2023 school year.

Worden comes to the district with experience as an elementary principal with Duluth Public Schools. She received her bachelor’s degree from Augsburg College and master’s degree from St. Mary’s University. She then completed her education administration requirements at Hamline University.

Worden’s appointment is not final until official approval is granted by the Bemidji Area Schools Board of Education.
