The Bemidji Public Library will host the MN History Players at noon Monday.

Player Melissa Friedmann will portray Virginia Mae Hope, a pilot and member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots during World War II.

A full description of Hope's life, including growing up during the Great Depression in Winnebago, will be shown. There will also be information on the bombing of Pearl Harbor and its national impact and on the changing roles of women during World War II. The event is free and open to the public.
