I'm writing on a topic that I have written before. It involves prayer in schools and the efforts of the ACLU to keep it out, along with all reference to God including the Pledge of Allegiance and the Ten Commandments. Yet, when there is a tragedy such as the recent school bus accident in Cottonwood, God is allowed into the schools. The memorial service was held in the auditorium. Gov. Pawlenty, along with Sens. Coleman and Klobuchar, were there and participated in the service. The evening concluded with students reading Bible passages.

The next morning, inside the school, Superintendent Sheldon Johnson led the bus drivers in prayer before they went on their routes. All of this happening and not a word from the ACLU. Are there double standards? Is there any correlation between eliminating prayer in schools and our rash of school shootings? It is time for Christians to stand up, be counted for and not be ruled by the atheistic minority.
