I would like to throw into this new arena the idea of giving every Bemidji resident a substantial discount or automatic seat upgrade to every event.
This center is being built by Bemidji and for Bemidji. Why would I go out of my way to prepare a meal I cannot afford to eat, unless I was serving someone else entirely?
I sincerely think that most Bemidji residents would be quicker to accept the proposal of a new stadium if they knew that they would reap tangible benefits such as I suggest.
