The City Council and County Board have heard from their constituents that our public library is an important part of the quality of life up here in the northland. Restoring library services for a year is an important first step in solving a multitude of problems.
We urge attention to maintaining library services on a continuing basis. TV and the Internet are all a part of learning and expanding our world, but the library came first, and the written word will always be important.
Support our governing bodies for addressing this issue. This is a win-win effort.
