In World War II, we bought War Bonds. Why did we? It was the right thing to do. The future of our nation needed more than taxes, more than soldiers, sailors and Marines. It needed each of us to invest in it.
Like it or not, we are in a similar struggle for survival today. They call it "globalization." I call it "selling out" the American worker.
For me, the answer is the same as it was in World War II -- buy American, even if it costs more! I am going to invest in my country's future by buying only products made in the USA, by USA-owned companies.
How about you, for goodness sakes!
