Obviously, your Capitol reporter, Don Davis, was smitten with the charm of Dick Cheney some years ago in Wyoming. He sounds as though he still longs for those one-on-one interviews of old that left him feeling all warm and fuzzy. Certainly, it was a moving experience that is not shared by most of today's news correspondence elsewhere.

Though Don Davis' intentions may have been to make me feel that Dick Cheney is simply an old softy, with all those good people from Wyoming loving him so, it still didn't make me to reach for a tissue to dry my eyes from his moving experience. In this case, the only thing I felt the need to grab was the Pepto Bismol and a bucket.
