This is in response to Marvin Christenson's letter about Cynthia White's comment on abortion. I watched the Dr. Phil show March 17 and what was said on that show turned my stomach. Thousands, literally thousands, of children are in foster care. Marvin, how many of these have you adopted -- children of drugged parents, children where siblings have been killed by their parents?
The most outrageous is children where the fathers are having sexual relations with their daughters. How many of these, Marvin, have you adopted? In addition, talk to social workers in the Bemidji area alone and they will tell you the amount of incest that is going on. Would you want to be born into families like this? Not me.
Anyone who wants to contribute to these poor children can donate money to the Doctor Phil foundation. One hundred percent of the donations goes to the welfare of these children. Marvin, here's your chance to put your wallet where your mouth is.
