Laureen N. Vogel, 66, of Becker, Minn., died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at Becker Baptist Church with the Rev. Rob Olsen officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Glenhaven Gardens at a later date.
The Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker assisted the family with arrangements.
She was born Dec. 5, 1941, to David and Dorothy (Aldrich) Berntson in Fosston. She married Harold Vogel June 24, 1960, in Fosston. They lived in Minnetonka prior to moving to Becker in 1994. She was the office manager for Vogel Display, retiring in 2006.
She was a member of Becker Baptist Church, where she was the building chairperson for the church addition. She was also a member of the Becker Library Auxiliary. She was a board member of Oak Hills Fellowship, and a women's Bible study leader for over 20 years. She was well known for her beautiful flower garden, quilting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of Becker; children, Jeffrey of Brooklyn Park, Michael of Golden Valley, David of Harrisonburg, Va., and Daniel of Excelsior; mother of Chisago City, Minn.; sisters, Linda Berntson of Minneapolis, Lois Born of Anchorage, Alaska and Eileen Blatchley of Ham Lake; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Dean Berntson; and one grandson.
