LAPORTE -- The Laporte School Drama Club will present Ken Ludwig’s “Midsummer Jersey” at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

“Midsummer Jersey” offers a modern retelling of Shakespeare’s famous comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” A cast and crew of more than 30 students will present “a lively evening of family entertainment, complete with music, laughter and fun,” a release said. Several students share leading roles, including Ethan Stute, Aysa Westrum, Hannah Kahlstorf and Samuel Langaas.
