Jaycees' BRRRmidji Plunge planned for Feb. 10

BEMIDJI--The 15th annual Bemidji Jaycees BRRRmidji Plunge will take place Saturday, Feb. 10, at Paul Bunyan Park. Registration and check-in will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the plunge at 1 p.m.

BEMIDJI-The 15th annual Bemidji Jaycees BRRRmidji Plunge will take place Saturday, Feb. 10, at Paul Bunyan Park. Registration and check-in will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the plunge at 1 p.m.

There is a $50 registration fee to participate. There also are a number of incentives for those who raise pledges of given amounts. Those who pledge $50 will receive a T-shirt, those who pledge $75 will receive a coffee mug, those who pledge $150 will receive a long sleeve T-shirt, those who pledge $300 will receive a sweatshirt, and those who pledge $500 will receive all the incentives. The funds raised through the pledges will be distributed to various local charities.

The BRRRmidji Plunge has been held in conjunction with the Winterfest on Lake Bemidji the past few years, but officials decided earlier this year to cancel Winterfest for 2018.
