James Mark Ziegler, 57, of Walker, died Monday, March 6, 2006, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church in Walker with Rev. Jim Halloway officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas-Dennis Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Walker.
He was born Aug. 15, 1948, to Leo and Vivian (Forbes) Ziegler in Winnebago City, Minn. He attended grade school at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Easton, Minn. He then attended high school in Wells, Minn., until he moved to Milaca in 1965 and worked at a car dealership. He also worked at Jack White Motors in Princeton, Minn. In 1971, he married Peggy Heitz. They had two daughters. He loved cars and machines and enjoyed automotive and small engine repair. He started his own business at home repairing small engines. He also was a devoted Christian, who loved being a part of Living Water Church. In 2002, he married wife Cathy. He enjoyed camping snowmobiling.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Stacy (Mike) Little and Jackie (Josh) Collins, and two granddaughters; stepson, Travis (Erin) Follet; sisters and brothers, Laurie (Dennis) Stenzel of Wells, Linda (Jim) Menden of Shakopee, Minn., Pete (Eva) Ziegler of Milaca, Minn., Tom Ziegler of Milaca, Rick (friend Kathy) Ziegler of Anoka, Minn., Chuck (Cindy) Ziegler of Orlando, Fla., Dan (Elane) Ziegler, Milaca, LeeAnn Ziegler, Le Sueur, Minn., Mike (friend Cheryl) Ziegler of Milaca, Joel (Lisa) Ziegler of Foley and Neil (LeeAnn) Ziegler of Foreston, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant brothers, Ronny and Larry.
