The Bemidji Lumberjacks basketball team picked a bad night to have a poor shooting display Saturday, falling at Alexandria 64-46.
It was the fourth loss in five Saturday double headers against CLC teams with the sixth and final coming at Apollo next Saturday, a game in which they will be a heavy underdog.
"We started poorly and played poorly all night." said a disappointed Coach Jeff Brown . "We didn't do much right all night. It was a physical game to which we reacted poorly. I thought we had gotten over that problem but apparently we haven't."
It marked the sixth straight game that Bemidji has scored 56 points or less and the fourth under50.
Alex opened with a pair of treys to take a 6- o lead and never surrendered the lead.

Eric Hartman and Charlie Warness led the way, hitting 21 and 20 to almost equal the Bemidji total.
David Sand came off the bench again to pace the Jacks, hitting 12 and grabbing seven rebounds. No on else had more than eight.
Alexandria ended with six more field goals and six more free throws, more than the Jacks could overcome.
Things get no easier this week with Duluth East visiting Bemidji for a 7:15 game, one starting 15 minutes earlier than normal. The preliminaries will open at 5:30 Saturday the Jacks head to Apollo for an afternoon contest.
The B and C teams both fell at Alex.
The Alex varsity reached 9-10 on the year. The Jacks dropped to 5-16.
