Ione Genevieve Seado, 84, of Hallandale, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. April 2 at St. Philip's Church in Bemidji.
She was born Sept. 16, 1923, to Clarence and Magdalen (Helen Wagner) O'Beirne in Wadena, Minn. A few years later, the family moved to a farm near Shevlin. In 1946, she married Marvin Seado, who died in 1994. After working for several years at Veterans Administration Hospital in Fargo, N.D., she retired and moved to Hallandale, Fla.
She enjoyed visiting with people, especially her family. She also enjoyed bird watching, word puzzles, TV game shows and reading.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Bill) Briggs of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Marvette (Bruce) Hagevik of Sunny Isles Beach, Fla., Marlene Omdahl of Thief River Falls, Minn., Paul (Cindy) Seado of Bismarck, N.D.; and John Seado of West Fargo, N.D.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Anola (Bob) Stubbins of Loveland, Colo., Audrey (Dick) Jorstad of Bemidji, Luanne O'Beirne of Bemidji and Cecelia (Ray) Ries of Osseo, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth, Marcellus (Bud) and Clarence O'Beirne; and sisters, Marcia Jean O'Beirne and Patricia Brockman.
