ALEXANDRIA, Minn. -- A 28-year-old Hutchinson man died in a rollover on Highway 29 south of Alexandria early Friday morning.
According to the State Patrol, Rhett R. Peters was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer north at about 3:45 a.m. and was entering a curve just north of the Pope County and Douglas County line.
The Explorer went off the road and into the ditch, crossing South Maple Lake Road. It came back on to Highway 29 and rolled over.
Peters, who was traveling alone, was ejected from the vehicle.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, North Ambulance and the Forada Fire Department.
