HSC to have free admission day March 2

BEMIDJI -- Headwaters Science Center invites the community to celebrate its 25th year of being open to the public for science fun on Saturday, March 2.

BEMIDJI -- Headwaters Science Center invites the community to celebrate its 25th year of being open to the public for science fun on Saturday, March 2.

Admission for the day is free, however they encourage donations to the HSC in the amount that admission prices were when they first opened 25 years ago: Children $2 and adults $3, with $10 maximum per family. See the exhibit floor, science demonstrations, have some birthday cake and ice cream, and more, a release said.

Annual family or grandparent memberships to the HSC can be purchased on this day for $5 off, to support many more years of hands-on and fun science experiences and education.  

The doors open at 9:30 a.m., with a Raptor demonstration at 10:30 a.m.; cake and ice cream at 11 a.m.; Science on a Cart demo at 1:30 p.m.; snake feeding at 3 p.m.; Science on a Cart demo at 3:30 p.m.
