The Bemidji High gymnastics team continued its late season improvement hitting a season- high 136.175 Thursday night to beat Park Rapids by 21 points at the losers' site.
Dani Paris led the way with a 35.85 all around with Pearl Walker second and Amy Hambrecht third.
Paris led the vaulting at 9.4 with Hambrecht, Kelley Frost and Walker the next three.
Paris topped the bars at 9.05 with Walker, Frost and Hambrecht again the next three.
Paris slipped to 8.5 on the beam but still won over Walker with Hambrecht and Frost 4-5.

And to close out the night Paris took the floor exercise at 8.9 over Walker, Tessa Comstock and Hambrecht.
Bemidji won the JV meet 94.5-77.45.
Amanda Sycks led the vaulters at 8.35 with Chelsey Anderson, Taylor Heinle and Tiana Stinar second, third and fourth.
Sycks repeated on the bars at 6.0 with Stinar second, Anderson fourth, the only three Bemidji entrants.
Anderson led on the beam at 6.1 with Sycks, Kelsey Leif and Stinar the next three.
Stinar paced the floor exercise at 7.9 with Leif, Anderson and Marit Oas 2-3-5.
Stinar claimed all around with 26.8 with Anderson second, the only two four-event performers.
The gymnasts are back in action at 1 tomorrow at the Gym Bin hosting Quad Cities in what should be an even more one-sided affair.
