Gov. Tim Pawlenty's feud with Bemidji Mayor Richard Lehmann continued Friday morning when the governor used his weekly radio show to shoot back at an opinion column by Lehmann that ran in the Bemidji Pioneer and the Star Tribune.

The dispute centers on Local Government Aid. The governor referred to Lehmann's Opinion Page commentary in which the mayor accused the governor of using "fuzzy math" to show that Bemidji hasn't been affected by cuts to the LGA program, which provides state money to cities for essential services.

Pawlenty defended his math skills and said that local spending is driving Bemidji's property tax increases.
