Free fly-tying class Thursday

BEMIDJI -- A free fly-tying class, sponsored by Headwaters Trout Unlimited 642 will take place Thursday at the Garden Pub and Grill, 111 Central Ave. SE. At 5:30 p.m., the group will order dinner and set up and will begin to start tying at 6:30 p.m.

BEMIDJI -- A free fly-tying class, sponsored by Headwaters Trout Unlimited 642 will take place Thursday at the Garden Pub and Grill, 111 Central Ave. SE. At 5:30 p.m., the group will order dinner and set up and will begin to start tying at 6:30 p.m. The group will be tying crayfish patterns. Materials needed include hooks size 2-4, metal beads, coneheads or lead wire, chenille, rubber legs, hackle and marabou all in crayfish colors. Materials are available for a small fee.
