The Bemidji Lions, First City Lions, local eye care providers, Walman Optical and Beaver Football held the annual Free Children’s Vision Clinic at Sanford Eye Services. Forty children had their eyes examined with ten of those examined fitted with free glasses provided by Walman Optical. The Beaver Football game held at 1 p.m. Oct. 24 at Chet Anderson Stadium was the culmination of Lions Vision Awareness Week with a halftime $1,500 donation presented to the team on behalf of the Lions.
