Crews responded to a fire at Dockside restaurant south of Northome just before 10 p.m. Saturday.
Responding were the Itasca County Sheriff's Office and fire departments from Northome, Kelliher and Blackduck, according to Itasca County Sheriff Pat Medure.
People were inside the establishment at the time of the fire, but no one was injured, he said. The owner of the restaurant attempted to put out the fire himself, but was unsuccessful.
The fire was reported to have started in a storage area in the building, Medure said.
The fire remains under investigation.
