Farm By The Lake's annual Sweet Treat Shelter

Farm By The Lake's third annual Sweet Treat Shelter was a huge success, officials said in a release. On Oct. 31, over 300 children enjoyed the festivities at Sweet Treat Shelter near Bagley, Minn.

Farm By The Lake's third annual Sweet Treat Shelter was a huge success, officials said in a release. On Oct. 31, over 300 children enjoyed the festivities at Sweet Treat Shelter near Bagley, Minn.

Area businesses dressed up and handed out candy including Orton's, Salon Central, Thrifty White, First National Bank, Kubiak's Foods, Clearwater County Nursing Services, Team Industries, Galen's Foods and Farm By The Lake board members and caretakers.

There were mannequins to take photos by, including Medusa in a canoe, a graveyard, and this year a mad scientist laboratory. The costume contest was judged by the area businesses participating. Winners received cash prizes.

Donations for the event were received from First National Bank, Riverwood Bank, Team Industries, Salon Central, Hillside Lumber and DaRoo's Pizza.
