Photography on display at First Lutheran BEMIDJI -- First Lutheran Church in Bemidji will feature the photography of Joyce Kleven as part of the First Friday Art Walk. Kleven is a retired math teacher from Bemidji who has loved taking pictures since the day her father gave her a camera. Nature photography – especially birds – has become her particular passion. She finds it to be a relaxing way to observe more closely and patiently God’s beautiful creation. It is Kleven's goal to get unique pictures without using Photoshop to change anything. The thrill of getting that special shot is well worth the hours spent waiting and watching, a release said. The work will be available to view from 8:30 - 4:30 p.m., with an Open House from 2:30 - 4:30 on Friday, Sept. 1. First Lutheran Church is located at 900 Bemidji Ave N
