The Catch-A-Dream playground was built in Blackduck in September of 1991. It is used everyday during the school year from morning until school is out and then it is used by the children living in town and anyone who comes to visit. It is still above any state guildlines for saftey. With the addition of two semi loads of pea rock the foundation is much safer also. Knife River donated of one of the loads of pearock. They have continued to donate all these years, whenever there is a need. Recess runs from about 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. everyday with the kids using the playground non-stop.
