Dorothy Arlene Beaulieu, 74, of Cass Lake, died on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the St. Mary's Mission Catholic Church in Red Lake with Rev. William Mehrkens officiating. A wake will begin this afternoon at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake and will continue until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Mission Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marian Prentice, Betty Beaulieu, Val Pankow, Sylvia Spence, Winnifred Juarez and Joyce Fowler.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Prentice Jr., Kent Beaulieu, Mike Fairbanks, Victor Roy Jr., Jon Prentice, Chad Prentice, Mike Roy, James Wilson and alternates, Paul Prentice and Charles Prentice Jr.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1933, to Paul and Mary Jane (Martin) Prentice, in Red Lake. She dedicated her life to caring for her children, grandchildren and all her family.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Linda) Beaulieu of Ball Club, Minn.; daughters, Ronda (James) Beaulieu of Cass Lake, Kimberly (John) Beaulieu of Minneapolis, Minn., and Sandra Beaulieu of Minneapolis; step-son, Myron Thorne of Bena; brother, Rodney Prentice Sr. of Red Lake; sister, Elsie Fairbanks of St. Paul, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Beaulieu; brothers, John Prentice and Paul Prentice; and sisters, Philomene Prentice, Marie Lawrence and Gloria Prentice.
