Donald K. Tolbert, 70, of Iron, Minn., died on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at his home.
He was born in Bemidji on April 23, 1936, to Agnes and Lawrence Tolbert of Tenstrike where he grew up at. He had a 12th grade education.
He was a tire man for Mesabi Tire and worked there 17 years and tire retread for 17 years.
He is survived by his son, Donald Tolbert of Eveleth; sisters, Katheren Cole of Everett, Wash., and Carol Taylor of Bemidji; brothers, Gene Tolbert of Blackduck, Larry Tolbert of Tenstrike, Dennis Tolbert of Hines and Leroy Tolbert of Eveleth; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
