PARK RAPIDS -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will hold an open house from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 10 in the community meeting room at Northwoods Bank, 1200 First Street E in Park Rapids. The open house will provide information and ask for public comments on the existing 18- to 26-inch protected slot length limit, four fish possession limit regulation for walleye on Kabekona Lake in Hubbard County.

Those unable to attend the public input meeting may submit written comments to DNR Park Rapids Area Fisheries, 301 South Grove Ave., Park Rapids, MN 56470, or via email to doug.kingsley@state.mn.us , or by telephone, (218) 732-4153. All comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 5.

Public comments will also be accepted during an open house 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Sept. 23 at the DNR Central Office, 500 Lafayette Road, St. Paul.
