Dale G. Peterson, age 71, resident of St. Daggett Brook Township, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at his home. He was born June 23, 1936 in Glenwood, MN. to August and Ruby (McClellan) Peterson. Dale spent four years in the U.S. Navy, and thirty-three years working on the pipeline all over the USA, and twice overseas in Algeria and Australia until retiring in 1993. Dale most recently lived in the country and had a few cows and a few horses.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Kathy and Kevin Wernberg, Debbie Binkley, Lori and Kim Bereuter, Lynette and Tim Burnard; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers, Dewayne Peterson, Floyd and Jeanne Peterson; 1 sister, Janet and William Schnetzer; ex-wife, Rose Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rick Binkley and brother, Lloyd Peterson.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday March 22, 2008 at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Rev. Andy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Minnesota Veteran Cemetery. Visitation times are Friday from 4-7:00 pm at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
