Sheriff's Report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Friday-Sunday

Shots fired

7:29 p.m. Sunday. A deputy responded to a report of an individual who accidentally shot himself while handling a firearm in Hines.

Drugs

5:15 p.m. Sunday. A 35-year-old woman was arrested in Red Lake on various charges, including neglect or child endangerment, possession of drugs, and introducing contraband into a jail location. A juvenile also was arrested during the stop.

Fire

4:32 p.m. Sunday. A deputy assisted the Kelliher Fire Department with a grass fire.

Theft

3:35 a.m. Sunday. A theft of a firearm was reported in the 7400 mile of Grange Road NW.

DWI

10:27 p.m. Friday. A 25-year-old man was arrested on Irvine Ave. for DWI.

10:06 p.m., Friday. A 23-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Centerline Road NW and Trengove Road NW for DWI and drug possession.

Warrant

4:03 a.m. Sunday. A 36-year-old man was arrested in the 5600 block of Alps Court NW on a warrant.

12:58 a.m., Saturday. A 25-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant and for possession of drugs in the 5600 block of Alps Court NW. A 50-year-old woman also was arrested for obstructing the legal process, giving a peace officer a false name, and for a warrant.

1:56 p.m. Friday. A 39-year-old man was arrested for a warrant in the 400 mile of Archery Road NW.

11:49 a.m. A 44-year-old woman was arrested in the 600 block of Minnesota Ave NW on a warrant.

Domestic Assault

12:01 p.m. Saturday. A 37-year-old woman was arrested at the intersection of Wilton Hill Road NW and Division St. W on the charge of domestic assault.

Police Report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls Friday-Sunday:

DWI

2:55 a.m. Saturday. A 22-year-old man was arrested for DWI at the intersection of 15th St. NE and Birchmont Drive NW.

1:31 a.m. Saturday. A 22-year-old woman was arrested in the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Drive S for DWI.

Sexual Assault

3:26 p.m. Sunday. An officer took a report of a sexual assault in Red Lake.

Warrant

8:36 p.m. Friday. A 27-year-old woman was arrested for a warrant at the intersection of Beltrami Ave. NW and 15th St. NW.

2:33 p.m. Friday. A 20-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant in the 800 block of 26th St. NW.

Firearms

10:51 a.m. Sunday. An officer seized a firearm from a felon in the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Assault

7:51 p.m. Saturday. An officer took a report of an assault in the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Drive in which the victim was knocked unconscious and stabbed in the foot.
