The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Wednesday.
Assault
12:19 a.m. Report of an assault in Bemidji in which a vehicle and foot pursuit followed. No arrest noted, charges filed and children placed.
Theft

7:27 a.m. Equipment was reported stolen from two building sites in Eckles Township on the 5300 block of Sullivan.
Burglary
11:25 a.m. Items were reported stolen from garage on the 10800 block of Welter Way NW in Puposky.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Thursday.
Fraud
1:28 p.m. Caller informed deputy he received a text from an unknown number indicating he won $100,000 but needed to pay $3,000 to receive it. Caller was advised it was a scam.
Burglary
6:31 p.m. A burglary was reported at a cabin on the 21800 block of Hagali Road NE in Tenstrike. The incident is under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls Wednesday.
Fraud
10:28 a.m. Caller reported his computer being remotely locked and ransom demanded to unlock it. Officer advised caller to contact an internet technology person with his internet provider.
Theft
4:38 p.m. A 27-year-old woman was arrested for a warrant following a report of a shoplifter on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.
Obstructing
8:35 p.m. A 25-year-old woman was arrested for public nuisance and obstructing following a welfare check call on Cedar Lane NW and Anne Street NW.

9:39 p.m. A 19-year-old man was cited after two parked, unoccupied vehicles were struck on the 2500 block of Phoenix Loop NW. No injuries.
Disorderly conduct
10:27 p.m. A 20-year-old woman was arrested for minor consumption of alcohol after officers responded to a request to remove an intoxicated female from a residence on the 900 block of Carter Circle SE.

8:41 p.m. A 31-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant and for providing a false name during a traffic stop on the 600 block of 12th Street NW.
