OAKDALE, Minn. — Two men were shot and another suffered other injury early Saturday morning, March 14, at an Oakdale hotel.

Officers responded at about 6:15 a.m. to the Hilton Garden Inn at 420 Inwood Ave. on the report of a man being shot, according to Oakdale police.

Police found a man in the front driveway with a gunshot wound to his left forearm and another man further in with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Officers conducted a search and secured the fourth floor where the shooting is being investigated.

Both men were transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening.

A third victim was discovered to have an abrasion on an arm.

A preliminary investigation revealed that there was an altercation involving several people who had been drinking alcohol prior to the shooting, police said.

Two people police believed were involved in the shooting have been arrested. Police are not searching for further subjects.
