BEMIDJI -- Omnibus hearings were set Monday for two individuals tied to a homicide case dating back to February.
On Monday, a Nov. 18 hearing was set for Daniel Linde and another was scheduled for Kristi Trisco on Nov. 25. Both have been charged in connection with the deaths of 39-year-old Adam Thorpe of Maple Grove and 41-year-old Jason McDonough of the Superior, Wis. area.
Linde, 54, of Cass Lake, was charged in July with two counts of aiding an offender after the fact. Trisco, a 31-year-old from Bemidji, was also charged in July with two counts of aiding an offender after the fact. A third individual, Darren Stebe, 45 of Bemidji, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
According to criminal complaints, the killings were connected to an alleged purchase of methamphetamine. The bodies of Thorpe and McDonough were discovered by law enforcement on Feb. 5.
Court documents included a determination by medical examiner that both Thorpe and McDonough were victims of multiple gunshot wounds and/or homicidal violence. The complaints also indicate the bodies were burned and that at least one of them was found in pieces.
The bodies were located at a home in Eckles Township, just off state Highway 89. The complaint also indicates that Stebe took as much as $5,000 from the victims.
Stebe's next hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13.
