8 arrested in Hubbard County drug bust
PARK RAPIDS -- Ten people were arrested Tuesday in Hubbard County after multiple law enforcement agencies completed an extended investigation into drug trafficking, officials said.
According to a release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, authorities undertook controlled purchases of methamphetamine and prescription opioids. Later, they seized a number of controlled substances, including methamphetamine, prescription opioids, cocaine, butane hash oil and marijuana from some of those arrested.
Those charged include Cody Troxel, 27, Laporte, third-degree sale of controlled substance; Daryl Troxel, 50, Laporte, first-degree sale of a controlled substance; Elizabeth Glatzmaier, 34, Park Rapids, third-degree sale of a controlled substance; Timothy Lydell, 50, Park Rapids, third-degree sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance; Margaret Snook, 21, Park Rapids, third-degree sale of a controlled substance; Ethan Boyd, 26, Park Rapids, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance; Kristie Zaske, 43, Park Rapids, supervised release (parole) violation; and Joseph Roberts, 33, Park Rapids, probation violation.
According to the release, the drug seizure will result in additional Hubbard County drug charges.
The investigation included the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, Park Rapids Police Department, Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force, Akeley Police Department and the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
