The serious felony charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct against Christopher Michael Eischen, 36, of Blackduck, has been dropped.
Subsequent investigation into the charge revealed exonerating evidence, according to the Beltrami County Attorney's office.
The charges were dropped as of March 10.
Eischen had pleaded innocent to the charge on Aug. 6 in Beltrami County District Court.
