BEMIDJI -- Cancer Concerns and Connections will host its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at the Tom and Yvonne Sunnarborg home, 5818 Birchmont Drive. January’s discussion will be “Our Stories -- The Cancer Journey Perspective.” Three members of the Cancer Concerns and Connections group will share their stories along with the challenges, rewards, and life changes that have followed their cancer diagnosis, according to a press release.
Local medical professionals and other resources will be utilized for the presentations. After the meeting, there will be an informal opportunity for participants to interact with the presenter, meet one another and share their stories.
